No Power at Doug’s House

Author: Yesterday’s thunderstorms caused BGE’s power to fail again in our neighborhood. Since 3:30PM yesterday approximately our power has been out. My guess is we’ll be barbecuing what’s in the freezer this evening and having the neighborhood over for dinner.
I tried to start our portable Generac 6250 watt generator last night. This is a new but rarely used generator. It never started and in fact the starting rope snapped ending all attempts. Absolute junk.
It never fails that our neighborhood seems to be the last one that gets turned on after a major outage. I’m not checking my email until the power is back and the PopularWIreless AIS SHip Watcher’s page is down until the power returns.
