Account Services: Let’s Waste the Scammers Time
I received yet another call from the Account Services credit card scammer today. (Unknown name unknown number) I have started to press one each time they call. The woman at the other end of the call usually has to listen to at least one sentence before she hangs up on me. I’m able to get the following message to her, ” Put me on your do-not-call list you have called four times this week.” CLICK.
The operator there hates to hear this message. It truly annoys them. They obviously have instructions to hang up on people that want to complain. What if every person that received the call pressed one to talk with the scammer and expressed a one sentence opinion? It may have the effect of slowing down calls because the victims would tie up the lines. For all we know they may also have to pay a telephone company for every connect.
I say let’s waste the scammers time and see if we have an impact. I for one am sick of the calls. Today in the last two hours I have received the auto warranty scam and the credit card scam calls. The credit card call has come in every single day. Last night at 9:00 PM. Use up the scammer’s time. Press one to continue and share your anger. The scammer deserves it.

This scammer has called our home twice this week. The last call was at 3:30 PM from 850-386-1643. I am still amazed this company is still in business violating federal do-not-call laws. When is our government going to deal with these people? When are telephone companies going to stop selling them services?
I have received calls from this company for weeks. The first time I thought I was late on a payment, so I pressed "9" to connect with a rep. I quickly learned it was a telemarketer and hung up. I answered today's phone call to tell them to take me off the list (I am on the Do Not Call Registry), and was told I would be removed in exchange for a dinner date. When I asked for the name of his supervisor, I was told it was "Obama". I retrieved (fictitious, I'm sure) his info and was told to call an 800 number to remove my name. Although I knew he was giving me the runaround, I did call the number thinking I would at least reach another part of the company. It was a phone sex number (big surprise) asking me if I was "hot and hung". The rat bastard actually called me back later on and asked if I called the number. I said I did. He asked if they helped me get my number removed, and I said they certainly did, thank you. He was confused and asked again, and I gave him the same respone. He then said "thank-you" and hung up. I really wish I could inconvenience the hell out of this company and the scum who have the nerve to be employed there.
Heather from Account Services is BACK! 10/2809 1150AM Good ole Heather called about "my current credit card account." The same scam our government agencies have been unable to stop despite the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.
The caller ID now identifies as "Credit Services"

How many years, how many victims is going to take US law enforcement to put these scammers out of business?
I've lost all confidence in our government's consumer protections given the state of medicate fraud et al.
We will just have to continue to waste the scammers time.
