The912Project.com
The 912 Project I watched Glenn Beck tonight on Fox and I was deeply moved. When I tried to visit the new website for The 912 Project it was down or too busy. After I wrote this post over ONE THOUSAND people clicked here apparently thinking my article link was a way to get to the project.
In all my years on the net I have never seen anything like this. Glenn’s impact has been extraordinary. Thousands of people are trying to connect to his domain and it is still showing an error 403 – Forbidden. We will all have to wait and take a more orderly approach to joining Glenn in the project.
What struck me the most was when he looked into the camera and said that it wasn’t the media that mattered. It wasn’t the politician that mattered it was US. The American people.
I really hope that tonight a message was finally received in Washington. A message that we are going to expect that principled people are actually solving our nation’s problems.
God bless America.
As of 0827 this morning Glenn’s site is still down and I don’t see any news about it at FoxNews.com. We can read about the 9 Principles to Believe In. and Glenn’s twelve values.
Links here almost brought my website to its knees because people REALLY wanted to connect with Glenn on this. This is nothing short of phenomenal.
The 9-12 Project.
We surround them.

Obama puts major procurement projects on trial.
The Democratic Party will destroy our military preparedness again. The Pentagon is considering cutting or delaying several major defense programs including the replacement of the Air Force's aging fleet of aerial refueling tankers. This will cost the American tax payer more money and taxes.
We've all said it one too many times: If we all got together, we could take our country back from the politicians & the illegals –
Now we can – Glenn has started where you & I wouldn't – Stand up, America – Let's get behind Glenn & each other & DO SOMETHING !!
Right on… I couldn't say it better. I agree fully!
Let's Rock!
"Glenn has started where you & I wouldn’t – Stand up, America – Let’s get behind Glenn & each other & DO SOMETHING !!"
But I STILL get a 404 error this AM! He REALLY should have planned on needing more servers or capacity… The "404 Forbidden" makes people think it is not there at all or wrong address. Most likely there are a bunch of denial of service attacks on the server… think about it "We Surround THEM" will make the whole crooked corrupt government scared!
!! WE SURROUND THEM !!
I think Speaking for all off us,We will never give up.You know they will try to stop us or discourage us.Its finally time for them to WORRY.
Time for all Americans to stand up for our country – believe in what we have accomplished and demand morality and honesty from our elected officials. My first demand at present would be for our leader to produce his birth certificate for all Americans to see. There is question as to where he was born – and was his Mother a citizen at the time or had she lost her citizenship because she was out of the country too long. She spent her life in Indonisia and passed away there at a young age. His roots are NOT in Hawaii —and he speaks not at all of his white heritage.

I think politicians in Washington should have a limited serving time, that way maybe they won't become so corrupt & some of them such crooks.once
Glenn said today that the site was down for 30 plus hours. It's down again. I think he needs mirror sites.
I'm thinking Southern Maryland needs a place to build on this idea so I offer the new bulletin board here at DougWeb.
It also seems like Glenn needs a way to score solutions and even current situation with a Nine-Twelve score. Based on the presence or lack of same of the principles and values what is the score? I think like he does in that if we talk in terms of principles and values we can solve problems.
…WE CAN TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK IF WE ALL STAND UP! OUR TEA PARTY IS IN APRIL HERE IN COLORADO SPRINGS AND I CANT WAIT FOR IT! MY VOICE WILL BE HEARD BECAUSE I LOVE THIS COUNTRY. I'M TIRED OF THE ACCELERATED DESTRUCTION OF IT FROM WITHIN… AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE!!! "WE THE PEOPLE" IS A POWERFUL PHRASE AND OUR FOUNDING FATHERS KNEW IT MEANT SOMETHING BIG WHEN THEY WROTE IT… AND THAT IT WOULD MEAN EVEN MORE LATER ON IN OUR HISTORY. GOD BLESS THEM, GOD BLESS YOU AND MAY GOD PROTECT AND BLESS OUR BEAUTIFUL AMERICA!
Help needed with accessing the912project.com web site

I have cleared the history etc and tried numerous times to get in is my ISP WOW (wide open west) blocking this site is it Mozilla I have even tried on Internet Explorer if any one can help or you yourself have encountered this problem please let me know
I am having the same issue Tara. My experience is that as popularity evens out a bit we should all be able to visit Glenn's site. What we can all do locally is build sites of our own. This small site of mine is located in a Maryland rural community South of Washington D.C. I'm not sure how much interest there is down here but I opened up my site as a place to meet. You could do the same in your area. All across the country we should have 912 meetings. That seems to be what Glenn would have us do. My guess is he has people searching the Internet for blogs like mine to asses the progress of the movement, and it is a movement. This is how the teaparty folks are working things. There is a tea party in Solomons Maryland this weekend.
Hang in there. Keep trying to connect.
ok I am beginning to think my ISP might be an issue but will watch We have already joined the national and local group on Facebook etc
Thank you for your support
I'm glad there are lots of us out there Tara. I'm hoping there are a few more than I here in Southern Maryland. One thing I did do was PING the STU BLOG at Glennbeck.com so they would find this message thread. My guess is that Glenn and STu are acutely aware of the website problems. They'll fix it. Well, maybe Stu will
Doug
I just took my 1 last desperate measure and Deleted every cookie that I had and was FINALLY able to get into it now i just hope I can remember all my passcodes LOL
it is obvious that congress members with not limit their terms in office. I believe it is most important that we the people limit their terms in office to TWO terms, no more no matter how good they are when they first go to congress.
And it will be necessary to stop life time salaries for congress people.
I see a copycat website has popped up that is not affiliated with Glenn. Not sure what the value is there. In all of our communities it seems to make more sense to gather with our neighbors and friends to build strong local groups focused on principles and values. We can do this in our homes, churches, associations.
Everyone who landed at DougWeb was not looking for me. They were and are looking for others that believe as they do or are curious what Glenn has in mind in the end. What's next.
I don't know whether you have noticed or not but thousands of people are still trying to access Glenn's site. Time will come when the furor settles down a bit. Until then I think I'll start reading the books Glenn suggested just to get myself grounded in thought.
Locally I hope other folks interested in this movement will gather at the Solomons Tea Party or meet with their friends to discuss what this movement means to them and how they want to apply it in their lives.
One of the messages is that if we want things to change we have to stop electing people to office that are in that office for self enfranchisement, narcissistic group worship, power or greed. Whether we trust the people we elect can be in our hands if we elect the right people.
The parts of the country that have the most work to do are those that have elected the most corrupt among us. You people have some self examination to do. The rest of us have to watch those who we have elected and insist they stand for something, something based on principles and values. We're not going to find that in someone else starting another organization by a similar name.
Everyone looking for Glenn's site is always welcome to stop here along the way and comment like those that already have.
One thing I have done since Glenn published the principles was evaluate the people and events I have seen on the news terms of those principles and values. The score is kind of frightening.
This afternoon I tried to develop a way to assign a number or value to the score thinking it might make the analysis more universally understood.
The problem I have in making an evaluation is when making the inevitable interpretation. As an example let's look at the principles. My example is Congressman Pete Stark (D) from California. Stark is an atheist. He called for the impeachment of President Bush. In the news today it turns out he has told the IRS and Maryland tax authorities that his primary residence is his house in Maryland. Glenn had this story on his site.
Stark is supposed to represent people in California and not Maryland. He is registered to vote in California and gets his mail at a relatives house there. He keeps getting elected to Congress. Why?
The Principles
America is good. Well he must think so because he has been able to get away with his deceit for some time. It appears that for financial and tax advantage he has jury rigged his living situation to save money while preserving his Congressional seat. So he must think American is good because he has the freedom to get away with his scam particularly when the party in power will protect him. Now I think he must think very low of his country and his office because he is willing to perpetuate the tax scheme. That's my opinion, but I don't know the man. I know as a former resident of California that I do not like his politics. If I assigned a value of ten to this principle he would get a zero. In his mind he's get a ten.
Well, then there is principle 2, a belief in God. He doesn't. Easy zero vote for me but an atheist subscribes to his or her belief in no God and that might be a God belief in some minds. I know it's a stretch, but zero out of ten for me.
Then there is "more honest than I was yesterday." Since he has allowed this scheme to last for awhile I'd say zero. I don't know the man however. I don't know how he is perceived by freinds or family. I just know that he thinks he can have a primary residence in Maryland for tax purposes but claim to be a Congressman from California. The stakes are high here so I still assign a honesty value of zero regardless.
Family is sacred. Well zero. I have to stretch the meaning of family to include his constituents. Obviously if he believes his primary residence is in Maryland he must like us Maryland folks better than the folks he claims to represent in California. He is not being true to his family.
Break the law and pay the penalty. Well if this has gone on for multiple years I sense that he may feel he is justified and above the law if there is one. Because there are only nine principles I assign this one as having a value of 20 because in my view it is the most important one. It is the one that causes us all to think about our choices before we make them.
Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness no guarantee of equal rights. Again a zero because I think his arrogance is such that he believes he is guaranteed his status because of who he is. The tax laws were his to apply for his benefit.
Work hard and government cannot force me to share. He gets a ten. He believes government should not get his tax money for his Maryland residence so he has done what he can to prevent it.
It is not un-American to disagree. Again a 10. He disagrees with the tax laws and has taken an action that some of us might consider wrong. So he has a whopping 20 points.
The government works for me. Zero. He is the government and we are his subjects and he can do as he please is how I interpret his actions. That's my opinion. SO my Stark score is 20 out 100.
A politician that achieves 100 out of 100 is one that is not not like Stark.
My point is that these interpretations are likely to be controversial depending on whether you are a lefty or a righty political parties aside. Glenn wants us to focus on principles. and values.
So I look at values.
Is this honest. No. Is there reverence, I think not. Is there hope? Not for me. I live in Maryland and he is not paying his Maryland taxes. Is there thrift? Well yes for him. He avoids Maryland taxes. Is there humility no because if there was he would pay his Maryland taxes and have a primary residence in California. Is there charity? No. Obama says we have to make sacrifices and he is avoiding his sacrifices. Is there sincerity? Well maybe on his part but I don't see it. Is there moderation? Not sure how this applies. Is there hard work. Well I don't really know. Is there courage? Sure! He is taking an exceptionally odd stand toward Maryland tax payments and is hoping to avoid payment. Is there personal responsibility. No, because if there was his principle residence would be where he pretends to be living and representing his constituents. Is he personally responsible? No he is hedging his bets. Is there gratitude? Certainly. I think he is very happy if he can continue this charade.
It is looking like maybe all of the values ought to apply to everything that a leader does.
How are you applying the values and principles?
I'm beginning to think that Glenn's web server is woefully under powered. You don't suppose they are using Stu's laptop for this do you
if Pelosi is telling illegals to break the law she should be arrested. We as citizens can arrest her. These politicians think they are above the law. WE ARE THE LAW.. They work for us, not the illegals. They also need term limits to control corruption with these thieves. Neither party is any good anymore.
Thanks, Glenn for all you do. United We Stand.
1. Need Terms Limts
2. No Lobbyist.
3. Campaige Funds, should come from their State only.
4. No Campaige funds from Big Business,Orgination or Special Groups.
5. Should not be able to make a career as a Politician.
6. Goverment should not control salary for CEO's, it should be based on performance of the company. (Just heard that Obama wants to control executive pay for those that did not recive money from the goverment.
7. Impeacement of the President is needed. He is going against our Constitution.
Thanks!
They called the Korean War a Police Action, but, call it what you want it was still a hell of a war!!
With our technology today, we COULD&; SHOULD get mean as hell, move in and wrap the War up ASAP.I along with thousands have always thought this. Oh, wait, some of the members of the government haven't made enough money yet so lets string this WAR out as long as we can. Was it Lady Bird Johnson that owned one the largest munition plants in the country? Why end the Viet Nam war.
ONE CYCLE, NO MORE THAN TWO in Washington and thats it.
If altogether we quit paying taxes, Washington would get off their Ass and do something and their lifetime salary is BS. We have ALL thought this at one time or another. STAND UP AMERICA before its too late!
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union – - – we will have to get government back to where the constitution says it should be. I fully respect our founding fathers and wish to stick to the old rules. Less government, fair tax, no cap and trade, less spending, less politicians who have too much power. Let people who succeed do so and those who wish to fail, can. We are a great country and can take back what is ours!
