This isn’t about slots, this is about financial malfeasance and incompetence in Annapolis by our elected law makers there.  They had several opportunities to stop this madness they now tout as a crisis. Where are you Democrat property owners and business people? We have to move the statists and progressives out of Annapolis in 2010. We just have to if we are to survive as a state.

If you haven’t read Glenn Beck’s new book “Common Sense” yet I strongly recommend it. Are you confused about the 9-12′ers that meet at Tea Parties across the nation? Are you wondering why some famous people call the 9-12′ers horrible names or why our own government seems to think we should be watched? Why are politicians making decisions about us that defy a common sense explanation? What has happened to our school system? Why do the American people seem so divided?

The answers are all in Glenn’s book. It’s a book, and you need not fear the book itself. Pick it up and read it, however, and the words will remind you how you can again feel about about life, liberty, truth, and your own pursuit of happiness in our United States. The words will inspire you to think and to take actions that can again bring America to its senses.

City puts large sign in front of church booths and Tea Party booth at 4 th of July Celebration blocking and sequestering the groups away from other activity. Sign infers the groups are hostile and that the city was forced to give them space or be sued. This is a pathetic and childish political tactic that I hope the citizens of Pt. St. Lucie are going to keep in mind when elections roll around. The city did its very best to marginalize religion and differing political views.

(EyeonAnnapolis via DIGG) But wait! Here in the wings is a suitable replacement. Tony McConkey, yes the GOP Delegate recently disbarred for violating a law he voted for (he acted as predator on a foreclosed home and had to give up his law license). (See Annapolis Capital Punishment)

Thanks to the Eye on Annapolis Blog for alerting us to this story. Anne Arundel Republicans need to think very carefully about anyone in the party taking an interest in this Senate seat. The 912 Project I watched Glenn Beck tonight on Fox and I was deeply moved. When I tried to visit the new website for The 912 Project it was down or too busy. After I wrote this post over ONE THOUSAND people clicked here apparently thinking my article link was a way to get to the project.

In all my years on the net I have never seen anything like this. Glenn’s impact has been extraordinary. Thousands of people are trying to connect to his domain and it is still showing an error 403 – Forbidden. We will all have to wait and take a more orderly approach to joining Glenn in the project.

What struck me the most was when he looked into the camera and said that it wasn’t the media that mattered. It wasn’t the politician that mattered it was US. The American people.

I really hope that tonight a message was finally received in Washington. A message that we are going to expect that principled people are actually solving our nation’s problems.

As of 0827 this morning Glenn’s site is still down and I don’t see any news about it at FoxNews.com. We can read about the 9 Principles to Believe In. and Glenn’s twelve values.

Links here almost brought my website to its knees because people REALLY wanted to connect with Glenn on this. This is nothing short of phenomenal.
